Well Vera I did try and explain it to my Mum a few times but she didn't really get it (and dementia didn't help!). Similarly with my mother-in-law until recently I sat her down in my study and SHOWED here what I was doing, and talked to someone in another state using Skype - then my mother-in-law did get it.
