A well-deserved promotion I say! Congratulations grandpa ;-) and hugs to little Luc!

In a few months from now, he'll be conscious of the world around him, and he'll be laughing and crying, and doing all those cute and cuddly things that babies make. It'll be a joy to hear him laugh. Record his laughter, grandpa and share it to the world!

hugs,

aiden

Hi, grandpa!
Kudos to you on the grand promotion!
I'm listening to that fabulous guitar melody, Arriving Abroad, as I'm writing this. A great listen!
As I listened to your audio message, I imagined the whole scene in that very cheerful hospital room with little Luc being the center of attention, but going about his sleep without a care in the world. Way to go!
He's such an adorable and cuddly little boy!
And as I looked at the photo of baby and mum, I relived the two very special moments when Pedro and Miguel were born and we were all soooo happy! :-)
All the best to little Luc, his mother and father, grandpa Mike, uncle Joti (I know I'm misspelling it, but can't remember how it goes!) and remaining family.
Hugs all,
Teresa

Congratulations from Brazil, Michael!

I have two little ones and I can see how much fun their grandparents have. It's like being renewed from little beings that are always there for us!

Thanks everyone for these warm thoughts. I espcially liked Sohie's reference to me being a young grandpa so we'll be able to do stuff together before I'm too old! Luc was around for dinner tonight and he's doing fine. Now 13 days old!

Now that you are a grampa, you may want to go back to your old dial up account, so things will go a little more slowly. Broadband is great for the young, but with dial-up, you can feed a bottle or change a diaper while you are waiting for a download. Not only that you get the savor the pictures longer as they download....besides, at your age, you need to take things more slowly so you won't hurt yourself.

Nah, nevermind....we grampas, have to steel ourselves to teach them how to play video games....

Congrats on a job well-done.
