A few days
ago Hiske Weijers, my former partner and mother of my son Joti, suffered a
stroke and was unresponsive when discovered by Ben, her long-time partner in
life and music. She spent a few days in hospital in Sydney on life support to
enable Dutch family members to make the journey across the world to say goodbye
to their beloved sister and aunt.
It is with
great sadness that I write that Hiske was officially pronounced dead today, September 12, 2026, aged 63.
Thank you for our wonderful son and the lovely music. Oo a lala, oo a lala, oo a lala :)
